We are in need of a big-time pattern shift to cooler and wetter weather and at least for this week it's simply not in the works. We're hot, high and dry with upper 80s to low 90s all week. Our rain chance looks paltry, there is a "cold front" dropping south Monday but it's barely a boundary. The only way you'll know it's through is a north/northwest wind shift and an isolated afternoon shower/storm.
