LEXINGTON, Ky. — A 19 year-old Lexington man is dead, after police say he was struck by a hit-and-run driver.
The Fayette County Coroner says Darius Lee Mason was pronounced dead about an hour after the driver hit him.
This happened just before 6:00 Saturday morning while Mason was walking on Winchester Road near the intersection with Fortune Drive.
Mason's body was sent to the state medical examiner's office for autopsy.
No arrests are reported at this time.
