Mona Ashby was chosen to be the Habitat for Humanity homeowner.
“The main thing is that it’s mine, and it’s just something I’ve always wanted, and something I’ve always wanted to give my family, somewhere that they can come to and be at peace,” said Ashby.
As part of the program, homeowners have to put in 250 hours of Sweat Equity.
