LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Office of the Fayette County Sheriff has teamed up with Republic Bank and Chevy Chase Hardware to distribute 1,000 outdoor Green LED fixtures to residents in Fayette County.
This is the sixth component of Operation: Compassion, which is an initiative of the Office of Sheriff.
"Today we are announcing that we have 1,000 green lights to distribute throughout our community so that everyone feels united in this effort to flatten the curve and to move past this virus to stay healthy at home until we can go back to what normal will be, but just in an effort to unite our entire community," said Sheriff Kathy H. Whit
