Chris Kyle is a dad to an adorable 18-month-old daughter, Ava. While she may still be in diapers, the enterprising tot is actually a business owner.
Thanks to her parents’ purchase of a play kitchen set, she’s the proud owner-operator of Ava’s Kitchen. After patronizing the local eatery recently, Kyle took to Instagram to give an honest — and hilarious — review of his daughter’s restaurant.
“So I tried to support another Black-owned business for lunch today,” he joked in the caption alongside a cheeky photo of himself dining at the “restaurant” as the little chef looks to be hard at work.
“It’s called Ava’s Kitchen, just opened end of April. It’s a very clean establishment but whewww, let me tell you about this owner,” he wrote:

Kyle then went on to give a candid critique of the service he received at Ava’s Kitchen.
“First off, I asked why there are balloons on my chair, and it’s not my birthday?” he wrote. “She talm’bout, mind yah business; those are Mommy’s.”
Too funny!
“I been waiting on my order to get done for 45 minutes, and I’m the only customer here,” he complained. “She was making good progress at first, then stopped for 20 minutes to go watch ‘Paw Patrol.'”
I guess cartoon breaks are probably required at a toddler-owned business! Although he was less than impressed with his experience as a customer, in the end, the funny dad was won over by the young restaurateur’s winning personality.
“Overall the customer service could be better, but the cook is a cutie; so I’ll give her another chance,” he concluded his review. “Let’s not give up on Black businesses so fast after one mistake.”
Aww!
People thought Kyle’s humorous review was super funny and adorable, and his post has racked up more than 14,000 likes.
“This is the cutest thing,” @messa911 wrote in the comments.
“We love you dad!! Your daughter is so perfect,” wrote @ellsethsmith.
“Oh my god, hilar!!!” @alveylaura concurred. “She is so doggone cute, I can’t stand it!! Keep the funny reviews coming!!”
A head for business is in Ava’s genes, as Kyle is a full-time entrepreneur who works from home, which allows him to spend plenty of time with his spunky daughter.
In this post from May 23, he noted that when’s Ava’s “not whipping up meals in her fancy kitchen, she doubles down as my inventory manager”:

“Ava’s personality is absolutely amazing,” he told Bored Panda. “She is such a silly girl. From the moment she wakes up, she’s laughing, smiling and playing the entire day.”
How sweet! We have a feeling he’ll give Ava’s Kitchen another chance!
