WHITLEY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A police department is warning parents in Whitley County after CBD gummies were reportedly passed out to kids as Halloween candy.
The Williamsburg Police Department posted an alert on their Facebook page.
They're encouraging parents to check all their kids' candy bags if they went Trick-Or-Treating within city limits on Saturday evening.
According to the department's Facebook post, the gummies were in a clear package, like the one pictured in this article, with a strong smell of marijuana.
If you find CBD gummies in your child’s candy you're asked to contact the Williamsburg Police Department at 549-6017.
