We did it again! Our relentless September heat wave claimed another record high with Monday hitting a blazing 96°, tying Lexington's previous record from the late 1800s. Tuesday will rack up another shot with highs in the low 90s, only a couple of degrees shy of the record. Expect more heat and expanding drought the rest of the week with highs in the upper 80s to low 90s into the weekend. There are signs of a cooler & unsettled pattern shift early next week.
