It's not much but it's all we've got- a weak cold front will spark scattered showers & isolated t-showers overnight into Thursday. Many will stay dry, a few will pick up a quick hit of much needed rain. This has the chance to end Lexington's historic dry spell but won't do much to dent the drought. If you're one of the lucky ones, expect a few hundredths to a few tenths of an inch of rain. Beyond that- another blast of well above average, potentially record heat late this weekend into early next week as yet another summery heat ridge clamps down to usher in October.
