After joining LEX 18 as a news photojournalist in 2020, Alex Barber is excited to further his career at LEX 18 as the station's latest multimedia journalist.
A Nashville native, Alex graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a degree in Broadcasting and Electronic Media. Alex's work as a photojournalist includes flying to Florida to assist our parent company with Hurricane Ian coverage in September 2022. Alex has also covered the 2020 civil unrest after the deaths of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor.
In his spare time, Alex is passionate about hockey and is a big Nashville Predators fan.
