HART COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Two firefighters were hurt and taken to the hospital after a semi rear-ended a fire truck in Hart County.
The crash happened around 4 p.m. on Tuesday on I-65 in Munfordville.
Officials said the fire truck had both its lights and siren on and was responding to a crash in the southbound lane when the semi hit the fire truck.
LEX 18 was told that this caused both vehicles to flip over, completely off the road.
The wreck remains under investigation as of Wednesday morning.
