LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police say utility workers found a body near a water tank in northwest Lexington on Wednesday.
The Fayette County Coroner's Office confirmed the man who died was 55-year-old Gary Slone. The cause and manner of death is pending autopsy results.
He was located in a ravine in a wooded area behind a large storm sewer water container, according to the coroner.
Officials say the discovery happened just before 5:00 p.m. on Kilrush Drive. That's in the area of New Circle Road, between Old Frankfort Pike and Alexandria Drive.
