Report: Grandmother, 3 kids dead in Bell County fire

BELL COUNTY, Ky. (WRIL) — A woman and three of her grandchildren died Tuesday in an early morning fire in Bell County, officials said.

According to WRIL, Kentucky State Police and officials with the Bell County Coroner's Department confirmed the deaths. Crews were called out around 3:25 a.m. to the scene of the fire along Kentucky Highway 217 on Hurst Hollow Road.

The victims were identified as Beulah Mullins, 59, Sierra Posey, 12, Cynthia Posey, 11, and Shawn Posey, 8, all from Hutch, Ky.

At this time, no foul play is suspected. KSP Arson Investigators responded to the scene to assist with the investigation which is standard in any fire is involving a deceased person. The cause of the fire has not been determine and may take some time.
