LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Lexington police and firefighters were called after a body was found at a known homeless camp.
Officers were dispatched just after 5 p.m. to Newtown Pike and Third Street after a man was found deceased at that location. Although the area is a homeless camp, officials weren't able to say whether the person was a homeless individual.
Foul play is not suspected. A cause of death has not yet been determined.
It's the second body found in Lexington on Valentine's Day. A homeless man was found early Friday morning under an overpass on Winchester Road. Exposure is being eyed as the cause of death in that case.
