BELL COUNTY, Ky. (WRIL) – One person has died after a house fire in Middlesboro.
The fire broke out at a home at 24th Street and Chester Avenue.
Bell County Deputy Coroner Don Horton tells WRIL that he received a call at 9:14 a.m. from the Middlesboro ARH Emergency Room. Horton says that an individual was taken from the scene by Middlesboro Fire/EMS to the hospital and passed away in the ambulance.
After notifying the family, Deputy Coroner Horton has identified the man as 28-year-old Trey Branscom. Branscom’s body will be transported to Frankfort for an autopsy at the state medical examiner.
