ANDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– Crews worked for hours Thursday morning to clear the scene of a semi truck fire.
It happened around 2:30 a.m. on the eastbound Bluegrass Parkway at the 54 mile marker.
Officials say the driver noticed one of his back tires on fire. That fire spread and the trailer was engulfed in flames by the time crews got there.
Crews were able to quickly put the fire out.
We’re told the damage is mostly contained to the back and outside of the trailer.
No one was hurt.
