WHITLEY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– Interstate 75 was shutdown in both directions following a semi fire Thursday morning.
It happened around 5 a.m. near the Tennessee border.
Officials say construction was going on, causing the road to be narrow, when a semi hit the site, toppled over, and caused a fuel spill.
The truck driver is okay, and no one else is hurt.
