LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – Fire crews spent several hours battling a fire at a Lexington farm on Sunday afternoon.
Reportedly firefighters were called to Justice Farm at 6800 Man O War Boulevard around 3:30p.m. for a barn fire.
Fire officials tell us the barn held more than 10 horses, and they’re unsure if they all made it out safely. We’re told 8 horses are still unaccounted for as of late Sunday evening.
Firefighters say it was challenging to get water out to the area where the flames broke out.
No word yet on what caused the fire, it is under investigation.
