LOVELY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Kentucky State Police were investigating after a one person was found dead following a fire.
Authorities said officials were alerted about 9 a.m. by a 911 caller to a structure fire along Kentucky Highway 292 in Martin County.
Officials said after the fire was put out that one person was found dead inside the structure.
The victim’s name was not immediately released.
Authorities said an autopsy would be performed Tuesday at the medical examiner’s office in Frankfort.
