BRECKINRIDGE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – Kentucky State Police are conducting a death investigation after a body was found in a field in Breckinridge County.
Reportedly troopers were called to the intersection of KY 261 and KY 108 in the Kirk Community just before 7:15p.m. on Friday.
KSP says the person was found dead in a field adjacent to a nearby wood line.
The deceased was taken to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Louisville for an autopsy.
An investigation is ongoing into the circumstances surrounding this person’s death. Their identity has not been determined yet.
