LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A man has been charged after being accused of trapping a woman in his home, then beating and cutting her over three days.
Deputies say it began Friday night at 41-year-old Freddy Humfleet’s home off Echo Valley Road in Lily.
They say the woman was able to call 911 Sunday night.
Deputies found extreme bruising over much of her body, along with hand marks and knife wounds on her neck.
Humfleet was charged with assault and unlawful imprisonment, as well as more charges on other warrants.
